My water heater is leaking. Is that serious?
Treat it seriously. Shut off the unit’s water supply — and the power or gas if you can do it safely — then call. A leaking fitting is a repair; a leaking tank body means replacement.
How long do water heaters last?
Many tanks give eight to twelve years — water quality, maintenance and usage move that number. Tankless units go well beyond that when they’re flushed yearly.
Repair or replace?
A younger tank with a failed part is worth repairing. An older tank leaking from the body is done. We show you what we find and price both paths — your call.
Why does the hot water smell or look rusty?
